3.5 StarsBefore I started Book #4, I had resigned myself to suffer through this one because you have to read them in order. But, I braced myself to hate it because I'm indifferent towards Butch and Marissa bugs the crap out of me.Surprisingly, I was proven wrong. I actually grew to LOVE the story that unfolded about Bruce and I managed to tolerate Marissa (though she still kinda bugs...) Now, if the book was just about them, it would be 2.5 tops.But...the BEST part of the book (and what increased the rating) was the deeper dive into Vishous and the prep for his own story to be told. I'm intrigued by V's and Butch's relationship and the unspoken questions around their bond. I can't wait to read more about V.And what I'm finding about this series is, that with each new book, yes, a new brother's love story is told, but it's less about the love story and MORE about the BROTHERHOOD...the beautiful beautiful brotherhood. And this is what is so so so satisfying!
